I don’t think it would have mattered much, I don’t think the league 2 ‘sustainable’ model would attract many decent candidates.

I do wonder where the Crankshaw money has gone and what decent manager would be allowed to have any sort of budget if we can’t afford hand driers without fundraising. It’s clear Rupps not interested and we must keep his consultancy fee coming in and we must spend what we earn and not a penny more.

 

Booing is common after a defeat but it’s rare to see such hate towards the players from a large group of fans who are amongst the most dedicated in the entire fanbase.
Only seen it a few times in all the games I’ve been to.

Adams said he knew the long term problem and IMO that can only be Rupp, Ryan has not been in a position to influence anything until his recent appointment as CEO, how can Adams change Rupps input I'm not sure.

No money or investment is coming from Rupp forget about it. We’re a piece of his portfolio nothing more, sure he won’t want his investment to completely collapse so makes sure it’s ticking over but as long as it’s not costing him money he’ll leave it to rot.

He’s a German with no interest in football, he probably doesn’t even watch games in his own country, the only reason he’s here is because of someone else. Unfortunately we have the likes of Roger on here closely connected with the club who defend him as well. I appreciate his contribution but not that part of it.

 

That’s true and it does look like it’s heading that way, earlier in the season when we were drawing a lot we did look competitive and look like scoring it was due to lack of quality not effort, same can’t be said yesterday.

Some in this group have seen off a number of managers now Bowyer, McCall and T & S we started between good a reasonable under all 3 and totally collapsed. I really do hope to see the back of the lot of them one day, that includes superstars like Cooke and Watt who were appalling yesterday.

 

Other than the players in the squad that have achieved previous promotions with Adams, I think there is only Ridehalgh that has ever experienced it before. Maybe, just maybe, Adams knows better than they do how to get out of this league.

 

Out of interest, what’s our current Xg rate? If we’re not top of the charts on those anymore, then we might as well pack it all in.

 

There has been speculation recently with regards Watt & Cooke but if there were scouts at either the Barrow game or yesterday they would hardly be impressed although they weren't by themselves on the day, we know apart from the odd player most are capable of better.

 

Yes more of it on display yesterday! Defence as it stands is awful, with at least two I’d have on the next bus out of Bradford!

Most of our second half performances under Adams have been poor.

He doesn't seem able to instigate changes either by substitutions or changes in formation that result in an improvement. It seems a real problems to me.
