Personally I never want to see either
Gareth Evans or Billy Clarke play for us again.
They both offer next to nothing, can't run, can't shoot, can't tackle.
This season's over and they both should be binned.

 

It did look windy but as you say you play the conditions Carlisle did, remember a game a couple of seasons ago at Fleetwood where the wind was blowing straight down the pitch Fleetwood went in 1 - 0 up (although it could have been 2/3), I said to the grandson if we take notice of how Fleetwood played the conditions in the first half this game was far from over, we beat then 2 - 1.

 

Canavan says Hornby was kicked over the line for their 2nd goal.

 

Same could be said of Vernam and Crankshaw of late.

 

Need to cut those mushy peas out of pre match meal then, not the first time he has blamed wind!

 

I agree with what Trueman said with regards not putting our chances away but making comments about the weather conditions is for me clutching at straws.

The two players we brought in (Vernam/crankshaw) haven’t shown much has replacements.

 

I've said it before but you should never sign players from your own level who are happy to let go. If you consider teams in the relegation zone are probably mid table level in the league below then we signed players from Burton, Wigan, Swindon, Oldham and Mansfield. And I'm afraid it shows.

Statistically we’ve still got every chance, in fact we’re in a slightly stronger position than Parky’s History men were at this point.
Sure the team are nowhere near as good now as then, but equally the leagues much weaker. So let’s see how they react in a week.
I would say, massive over reaction by some on here, yes the wheels have come off a little bit but we played Tuesday on a huge pitch in Cardiff, then travel Saturday to the other end of the country, guessing they travelled up this morning, I’m not that surprised so many of them looked a little jaded. Add to that Carlisle are a rough proper shit house of a league 4 team who bullied our midfield in awful conditions on a less than perfect pitch, & it’s no real surprise that we had an off day.....
Onwards and upwards, Rome wasn’t made in a day and all that, let’s hope they can get up off the canvass pull it out of the bag and carry on with the modern day Bantam progressivism!!

 

The second Carlisle goal was the killer, watched it over and again and still dont understand how that can be allowed to stand.
as poor as we played, go in only one down, its a different game.
we do appear to be on the wrong end of some strange refereeing decisions this past week. the penalty- freekick drop ball being another.

 

It was in many respects another off day, it’s just a shame our previous management team screwed up so much that we can I’ll afford any at all now. Let’s reflect on a decent spell of late and some good signings that would walk into most teams in this league.

 

The drop ball was very strange after our player was brought down in or just outside of the area.I thought at first he was giving us a pen when he picked the ball up and walked into the box.

 

It was true though. It had an effect on the game for sure.

 

Wasn't we shocking in that 4-1 defeat at Exeter and look what happened thereof. Its a difficult situation but not insurmountable
