Play off spot was never on in my opinion. It was crazy for fans to think that we could sustain the unbeaten run until end of the season, which is what it would have taken.

Trueman & Sellars mission accomplished for this season, guiding us to safety. Big test and pressure for them comes next season when they should be aiming for automatic promotion.

 

This being tired excuse being peddled by radio Leeds is really getting on my nerves. We’re only as tired as the next team. Poor excuses. we were Poor today but the next 3 are all winnable.

You’ve lost me mate. Most people seem to recognise our midfield hasn’t the right balance and lacks muscle. The fact their goalie got MOM doesn’t alter the fact we were pretty dire esp first half , in another 6 pointer, so what’s your point I honestly don’t get it?

 

I hope that isn't the message T&S are giving to the players. There are still 13 games left and I want the players to be going out with the mindset and belief they can win every one of them. Do that and there is still an outside chance of making the playoffs, but the most important thing is to instil a never say die attitude. I don't want a team that gives up just because they've had a couple of poor games because that will never get us anywhere and we will end up stuck in this god awful league forever.

Now Clarke not being the man and his best days being behind him I cant disagree with, but having chances and putting them away (or at least making the keeper work) should come naturally to players.
We made chances the Cook one on one should have made it 3 - 2 and given us a chance to get something from the game.
Radio Leeds commentators saying to be fair to T&S they have only quoted about making us safe and a strong finish, Trueman taking a leaf out of Stuarts book talking about the weather conditions ffs, but says we were not clinical with the chances we had which no one can disagree with.

Were you suggesting Calum Guy was the midfield enforcer that we were missing? You said our midfield was weak and then referenced Guy as having a good game.

Lets finish strong and get rid of the dead wood. We should still win more games than lose. All the games I have seen we could have got something out apart from silly fouls ,mistakes, weather ,pens ,free-kicks ,burgers, chips blah blah blah

 

I for one would be happy with us getting Callum Guy in- think he would be a great addition to our midfield. Plays with great tenacity and absolutely dominated in there today.
