Slightly off topic but having watched the video it struck me that when the players (including last years lot too) walk out on Sunday into a packed stadium, it will hit home about what this club is and what its capable of if they apply themselves.

Who are the three players wearing the shirts on the promo pic? I forgot me glasses

When someone buys it, or at least goes down the shop, I'd be greatly appreciated to hear some feedback on what type of fit it is please. I think I'll order this one, but don't want it to arrive too big (or worse) too small. I'm a normal size large (so my Mrs tells me), but don't like these figure hugging shirts we've had the past few seasons. Would appreciate it thanks!

Fades away

 

I like it a lot, wouldn't have minded it being the home kit as it's better and a nod to the past too.

 

Going by some of the pics, I dont like how it fades away to be honest, spoils what should be a very smart shirt

I think that once Stephen Darby enters the 'arena' to a 'Wall of noise', any decent player could not help but feel humble yet inspired. And fans will echo that, in our vocal support and numbers.

 

Agree. If ever there was a blatant attempt to be a WUM, this is it. Almost as bad as that tool that constantly signs off his posts with ‘Marching on to...... fricking nowhere’

I am sure the club will take note of sales, if it's popular then IMO it's time for a white home kit, it's been 30+ years, as long as there is plenty of C&A, white looks good with it IMO.

 

hhm, struggling to name 5 of them, Is it John Napier between Colin Kaye and Ces? John Middleton between Ian Cooper and Joe Cooke? Bottom row no idea who is first one, is it Ronnie? Then Rod Johnson and bloke in middle next to Hockey for some reason I think is Bobby Ham

 

The collars on that one would look a bit too retro today. Got to admit, I do agree with some posters about the lack of purposeful collar, stitching around the neck. Also, not sure why they needed to fade the colours either. Would have looked great with matching broad stripes down each side of the shorts.
Anyway, it must be ok, because it's got me reaching for my credit card.
