    Don’t think so city gent he scored 36 goals 1961/62 season . I believe he scored seven in one game before my time though. Lawkholme Lane those days .

    Thankyou everyone for all your expressions of condolence. It is much appreciated.

    I was looking at some photos of us at away games in 1976/77. There is one of outside Brentford's ground, on one of them there is me, Carol, her aunt and a blonde lady I suddenly realised was the then City manager Bobby Kennedy's wife. She worked at Grattan with Carol's aunt. We were unbeaten at home that season, happy days.
