Always difficult to judge it against u21 sides. We've been very good, but it's literally men against boys.

These PL academies are great at producing cookie cutter technically rounded footballers, but so many of these young lads would benefit from 3 or 4 years of first team football in the lower leagues. And not just youth loans, learning their trade and earning a bigger move when they're ready. Sadly, money has killed that notion

 

I was wondering if playing at home might be a disadvantage for them. Probably something they've all wanted/looked forward to but it brings a different pressure.
