Odour seems to always do one touch/trick too many for me, rather then just playing the sensible pass.

 

Agreed. I understand that he probably tried too hard to impress, but his decision making frustrated the hell out of me. We've started to move the ball quicker these last few games, but he always wanted the extra touch. I just don't see how he gets anywhere near the match day squad, especially with the new additions. As for Oliver I think he deliberately plays like a Sunday league player to scare off anyone who might be thinking he could do a job. He must be on some contract that no one will pay towards it, or we can't afford to pay him off. He contributes absolutely nothing, gets caught offside too often, or commits needless fouls. He makes Ash Taylor look like an Olympic sprinter. I just don't see a scenario where he adds anything to the team when he plays. He's a complete waste of the budget.

 

Well in a few months Oduor, Oliver and the other shite will be gone, never to be seen again.

 

When I went to the pre-season friendly at Altrincham it was noticeable, when he came on, that Oliver spent more time moaning at the referee than focusing on the game itself. It just looked ridiculous to me.

In contrast, when Jake Young came on, at the time when there was all the discussion about his future, he was throwing himself into the game.

I know he's had some injuries, but Oliver has never threatened to look anything other than a non-league player in City colours. An awful signing and a bizarre one even at the time.

I thought so too. To lump Odour into the same catagory as Oliver is very strange. Odour is massively inconsistent which is why he is playing at this level.

The PM is underpaid. Maybe if we paid a wage relative to the job title/tasks at hand we might find ourselves with a decent candidate next time around. Dross after dross.

Anyway Vadaine Oliver for PM if it gets him off our wage bill.
