If we get there great and we must appreciate the effort from the lads to get there no doubt. But let’s be honest we haven’t a hope in hell in get through the playoffs. I think the squad and GA have been let down by a poor January where the intention was to scrape through and show willing, nothing in there to enhance or drive the squad forward. We don’t ever seem to be able to plan and execute a January window they always look like 0 planing has taken place or strategic thinking just constant plasters and puns.

From where we were for six years to where we are today I would say except for Stevenage should we reach the play offs the pressure would be on our rivals all with big budgets and expectations from the start. No body thought at the start of the season we would be where we are at this stage so we can treat it like a cup competition and really give it a go

Just don’t think we can perform outside of VP and have become accustomed to us fans literally being the 12th man. Also think our players who am not taking anything way from them are limited in some respects and the other teams quality when it counts will come through. Therefore in my opinion not a hope in hell. But not taking away the effort all season.

That's fair but literally anything can happen in the play offs. How often do 'the best team' actually end up winning. I'm actually more concerned about the two legs than I am about Wembley. I think if we get to Wembley we'll do it. We'll have a huge following and I think the pitch will suit how we play.

I’d be shell shocked if we got a results in semis home or away and even more so if we got to the final. Just not enough quality in the team, hard work and endeavour barrels of it and that’s great. But moments of quality win you what is ultimately knock out football. We got 4 playerrs who are although inconsistent have that 2 are out Tyriek and Bobby and one is injury waiting to happen Sarce and they other can’t be arsed Humps. Everyone else are just workhorses but they ain’t getting you over the line.

Unless you are taking the piss , that is overly pessimistic
We would have to lose every game left, which would mean 5 on the bounce, when did that last happen? we have 71 points currently
Reading 10th 3 games left max 71 have to win all 3
    Plymouth 9th 4 games left max 75
Hudds 8th 3 games left max 72 have to win all 3
    Luton 7th 4 games left max 76
one win for us , means only Luton and Plymouth could catch us and if that win is Plymouth , that's them out of the picture, a point on Saturday, will make it harder for town and impossible for Reading
It might be tight, but i think we will get there.

We have got results away against Bolton, Stevenage and Stockport all sitting in a play off place.
I dont believe past form plays any part in play off games as weve seen many times, weve experianced it against Blackpool and Burton losing both home legs and then going to their place and turning them over, Middlesbrough another example unbeaten against them the nearly season yet they did the business when it counted.
Obviously it's your opinion but to state we haven't a hope in hells chance is a little ott for the very fact that were are in a position in the league that suggests exactly the opposite ?.

Wins at Cardiff and Wycombe as well. Yes we are not firing on all cylinders but playoffs are a lottery, lets just buy the ticket and see what happens
But for the good saves by Stevenage's keeper on Saturday, the outcome would be sealed now.

The reason I didn't quote the two above Andy was because the original post was with regards play off teams, but your correct Cardiff away and done the double over Wycombe, maybe I'm being too much of an optimist but even in the league over the years for some reason we find it more difficult against the lower teams than those teams above us, Port Vale, Rotherham, Doncaster, Orient, Northampton after home, this season as an example.

I think out of current top 8 teams I’d give us lower chance of A) getting through and B) winning the thing. Seen pretty much every game this season and I am not for one knocking effort but I am knocking quality which bar Stevenage (but the pose a different challenge) all the teams in that bucket have more than us. I get we have more wins and points but I am talking about individual quality to win cup matches. We will be down to 2 players of that Ilk and ones always a game away from a knock.

Well luckily, we only have Exeter to play of the lower teams LOL
We have seen it so many times over the years, lose to the so called lesser teams and then go and win when expected to lose
Although we beat all those at home you mentioned this season and only lost away to Doncaster and Orient, which should have been sewn up after 30 mins

So who is the other who you think is quality, if Sarce is the game away from a knock
I would say Tilt has been very good Baldwin Good , Neufville started well but dropped off lately
Metcalfe is highly promising, Jackson will come good, Bobby and Tyriek to come back and even Powell looked really good in his cameo on Saturday

Real quality sarce, Bobby, Tyriek and Humps who can affect games.
Yes we’ve got workhorses like Tilt, Baldwin has quality but hit and miss wouldn’t put him in the above category similar with Metcalfe and Power.

True game changers the 4 above, but others named good players but inconsistent. The rest of the whole squad run of the mill lower league players in my opinion and wouldn’t get anywhere near a squad of Bolton, Stockport, Luton, Plymouth etc.

That may be so on paper, but as we have seen on paper is not guaranteed success. A good team is often greater than the sum of its parts.

How have they more in the bucket than us, I've pointed out why we shouldn't fear any of the teams in a play off place, weren't the same individual players you point out a part of the team that has us in our present league position, so its only Bradford City who might be in that situation, every player who takes to the pitch can be a knock away from missing games. Not sure how 8 teams become part of the debate I'd say unless there is a catastrophic fall off in Bradford City's, Boltons, and Stockport's form they will defiantly be in a play off place then it's a matter of who takes 6th place and at this present moment Stevenage are favourites as they have points on the board and a game in hand of many of the chasing pack.

Think this first 30 mins is point in principle as to why we don’t have a hope in hell. Quality is literally non existent.
