Just out of interest, who do you think were the top class loan deals done yesterday by league 2 clubs, because I have never heard of most of them, and I never rated Proctor.

 

Unless Newport pay very highly, there could be another reason why they have dropped a division.

 

I wonder what the likes of Jordi Hiwula and others were thinking yesterday now the transfer window has closed.. Not playing, not earning and I imagine the longer they are out of the game the harder it will be to get back in. That's not a dig at Jordi by the way, but I wonder if are about to see a flurry of activity as out of contract players expectations are adjusted, assuming some teams still have space in their squads.

 

If I was him and a club offered me a pay as you play contract until January, I'd bite their hand off right now. The longer he sits it out, not playing and not training, the harder he is going to find it to get back into the game.

 

Still monies available who knows, I believe the club said we'd approached Jordy as you say offer him a deal on a match to match basis.

 

It would be a good but of investigative reporting to see how many are still unattached and how they are getting on. I wonder if the lack of contracts comes down to players expectations or agents?

Agree on Proctor. Never saw enough of Devitt to have an opinion on that though!

Assuming we're not doing anything further attacking wise it seems to the left side that we're weak on in the squad.
