Isn't it nice to read glowing reports from a players former club? Happy with this signing, in a position we were weak in and he has seemingly got the attributes we lacked.

I do agree re the age thing. I would like to be signing players 25 and under but if we are to get a few 30+ in then it has to be of this ilk and not Derbyshire or Taylor.

I think Sarcevic is a good signing but as you and others have said if Stockport though so much of the lad you'd have thought they'd have kept him.

He's gone from training at championship standard facilities (a massive thing for us to sign big name players and good prem loans) to a school while being a professional .

 

Strange one that the club would only offer him a 12 month deal .. County’s statement to fans said they want “younger players” . They either don’t think he’s good enough for more than a year in L1, they don’t think he will be mobile enough in another 12 months or they can’t afford him on another two year deal and want cheaper youngsters.
Clearly their fans are not happy going by the comments on the y/T video?
