Morais back today - thank god!
Love Kiwomya’s passion for City, but Morais is a huge upgrade as a pundit.

 

Don't get the love in for Gary Jones on commentary. He often just states the obvious, which we can all see, basically like Andy does, but Jones can string his words together better. Morais is leagues above both of them, and I will throw it out there that he's the best I've ever heard in my whole life following City when I haven't gone to games.

Morias doesn't just tell you what you're seeing. He offers insight and intelligence. My favourite part is when he tells us about players he has played with who line up against us or when he tells us what the players will be feeling, saying etc on the pitch. The parts of the game we don't really get to see

 

I reckon people are codding. The lad is squids in for another season there - safe as a Chubb lock.

 

He's always been an articulate guy - one of the best interviewees in modern times when he was here as a player. Full of insight and way above the usual footballing cliches. Hope he goes on to summarize at a national level.

 

He used to frequent a bar my brother worked at, and my brother said that he's genuinely like that even outside of the media and is a very likeable guy

 

I think he would make an excellent manager.

 

Didn't he have a short spell as player manager when he was at Crawley?

 

He managed them for 2 games, so hardly counts I think.
