    Does anyone know what has happened to him? He picked up an injury that kept him out for a few months but was then reported to be pushing for a place back in the side. I recall him playing 45mins in the reserves, along with Patrick, on 6 March.

    He had trained all week leading up to Wigan game and was even named on the bench. He then suffered a reaction the following week, in training, but was expected to be back in contention for the Gillingham game. The Pulse said at the time that they had no idea why he hadn’t made the bench that day after training all week and supposedly looking sharp.

    But since then, he’s disappeared again. Has he picked up another injury or is he just not in Grayson’s plans? Surely a fit Jones is a better option on the bench than the likes of Patrick, Grodowski, McCartan and even Poleon?

    I disagree with all the hype around the lad - bang average and very lightweight. Think he’ll be shipped out at the end of the season.

    Are you referring to Jones, Patrick or McCartan as the description sums them all up? My point being he’s no worse than those 3 or Grodowski so why isn’t he no longer making the bench?

    Popped down to Rawden Meadows and was asking about Jones and was told he played 45 minutes at Morecambe and was told Reeves keeps picking up niggles.

    From what I can gather ........ Just as he looks likely to return to the team, he has yet 'another' setback. Doesn't read or look too good for me.

    And this is football. We all want to be a footballer when we grow up, but this guy has had injury after injury and I hope I'm not correct, but he's one of these guys who has to retire from the game without really making it. At a young age.
    They are not all millionaires, and you've got to hope they've got something set up for life after football.
