How big a squad do we need? At least the non playing members will be useful to fill those empty seats at home games.

It's not a big squad, it's leaner and meaner. Apparently.

With about 10 players injured .
Probably a couple leave this week. Hendrie and Odisina, would like to see Osadebe leave as well, done nothing since his return.

    Yea
I get it. Think we are all having to dig deep at the moment!!

First welcome to the lad. It’s great he is young, signed on a permanent and fits the gap of positions we are sparse of. Good luck Adam, welcome to the Bantams.

Question is - is he realistically going to be ready to start games with the coming 2-3 weeks? Or are we looking at a Kelly scenario where he will need months, rather than weeks, until he’s ready? If it’s the latter you’d expect more business on wide players to be done this week.

23 years of age and was turned down by Blyth Spartans prior to signing for a team in a league that can only be described as laughable. Good luck to him and hope he's a big hit but there's a reason why he's at that level at that age.

Remember these back in the day, for me the "Football Bible" full of football info, previous season tables the coming season fixtures, each individual clubs players from the past, fantastic value, I don't know how some would get on now a days with the likes of this, the Pink on a saturday evening, the News of the World on Sunday morning with all the transfer gossip, as back then there wasn't any transfer windows.

The Welsh league is stunningly bad, but that doesn't mean all the players are poor.

If he's gone to TNS for some game time after not making it at Newcastle, he could be anywhere from non league standard to Championship standard.

I guess we won't know until we see him play!

You trust our recruitment team to have spotted something that nobody in any of the english leagues did not?

    Possibly, yes.

The beauty of League Two is players can come from literally nowhere and be quality.

Dave Syers back in the day was a lad nobody in the world had apparently ever noticed before, and he did a decent job for us.

Well if the lad turns out to be another dud then more pressure will be on Stephen Gent. I hope the lad turns out to be a great signing but I have been underwhelmed with half our transfers with Patison, Mcdonald and Richards on my hit list.

Take my hat off it’s been scouted properly (that’s the bit I doubt). They’ll be duds going down this route no doubt out but they will also be good players if we invest in the right scouting structure and coaches at the club.

Thought about this recently we have Hughes, Hodges and Trueman - would it be clever business to bring in another coach to help improve what we’ve got? Some in my opinion are just uncoachable and not at the level (Ridehalgh, Kelly, Taylor etc).

However I do think there are a few with proper coaching that could improve. Clearly we can’t afford the best players maybe it’s about time we try and improve what little we have.

Ridehalgh has had a good career lost a bit of pace through his injuries but doesn’t come under that category
