The season can't start soon enough, these threads have become rather tedious. Shame because Adams has us set up well.

 

How did Foulds play yesterday?

 

I'm not even sure what there is to bicker about. Pre season has generally been very good, we seem to have built a competitive squad with a chance of still bringing in 1 or 2 more in. Can't remember the last time we went into a season so well prepared. Too much moaning for my liking.

 

He seemed steady away. Can't remember him getting much further forward than the half way line but looked solid defensively up to half time.

Second half we didn't dominate as much and they got a fair bit of ball in from their right. Difficult to tell whether that was a lack of cover or poor defending from him though when stood on the away terrace. It doesn't offer the best of views to the other end of the pitch.

They were simply just cynical fouls as we were breaking away. Worthy of yellows but certainly not crude lunges as you described.

The only crude tackle I witnessed was on Sutton and certainly looked high and dangerous but surprisingly the ref didn't even give a foul so perhaps it wasn't as bad as it looked from my angle.

Match report was what was expected. I do it for the southernmost games I attend, otherwise it’s ifollow or match reports from those that attended.

 

Yes it’s tedious, downright tedious. If one permits contributions purely designed to antagonise that’s what happens. You know and I know it’s disguised as differing opinion. Yet when that opinion contradicts itself from one day to the next one turns a blind eye. Stop it and it will stop being tedious. Right?

Coleman like Adam before when we lost to Chesterfield was just putting on a show. Both teams lost to league below and unfortunately now so don’t get what pre season is about so the managers both came out like losing was the worst thing on earth.

However, in the dressing room and at home it will be a different story.

Surely if you have every played the game that you know managers sometimes say one thing to the public and another to the players in private. You get that don’t you?
