Funny but up to six games ago (for West Brom), no one even thought about wanting Darren Moore!
Glad that the bloke has done well - in his SIX games, but surely it's a hell of a gamble???????????
Let's see how he does after a season or so eh, before shouting his name out for the vacant job at VP??

 

I'm not sure where I stand on Rosler. well I know I don't want him here, but whether it's realistic I mean.

I don't think Rahic has a bloody clue what hes doing, but surely he must have an idea what the reaction would be from a fan base that are already on his back in numbers if he appointed his German mate (especially given his questionable record elsewhere) I don't know if even he'd do that at this point.

....he probably would actually, he's an ego twice the size of his own country and is stubborn as a mule, of course he'd do it.

I'm not a great fan of Rosler .... nothing personal, I just think he's a 'marking time' type appointment for City. He is capable of a mid table finish, and would not upset his paymasters.
A lot will depend upon the amount of free reign a Manager is offered, as to the calibre of person we get. I would expect a few to turn US down, rather than us THEM.

 

Jesus, imagine the fall outs they'd have with Tony Bigbollocks if he stayed. Looks like they left Sadford City because they wanted too much money, given where they got them they are possibly worth a shout, though both would have to give up their other jobs.

Against them, they only seem to bring in experienced "ex-pro's" and journeymen at Salford. That wouldn't go down well with you know who.

 

the only place he did anything as a manager in this country was at Brentford, and that was largely down to Warburton (who i'd LOVE here, btw) at Wigan, Leeds and his Fleetwood side last season were awful.

Very pertinent, IMO - Are City recruiting for a Manager, or Head Coach ?
I think that alone could put some people off ........ Particularly if they speak to some of our recent employees ?

I am with you on Warburton. He would be my first choice. He has a reputation for bringing on young players. He didn't do well at Rangers, but who has recently, and he got the boot unfairly at Forest who slid down the table after he left. If not him I would give Mike Flynn a go, but not sure he would be interested at this stage of his career, plus he is in work already.
