Be a bit of an anti climax. The 'goal' that got them there sums them up for me. Seem to be getting the rub of the green.

 

Why would it be a disaster if we blew it ?????
I we fail i would be gutted dont get me wrong but i wouldnt be calling it a disaster ............i went into this season not expecting much and it will be the same for the playoffs.............

 

Out of Stockport and Stevenage i would want Stevenage all day long should we get there...........

 

Stockport are undoubtedly far and away a better team than Stevenage, but if we can get through Bolton over 2 legs, I really do think we'll go up as I think we have the edge over Stockport, and can not see Stevenage's only way of playing getting the better of us at Wembley.

 

Why?? That display of non football at VP was just awful, and I could do without ever seeing that again.

 

Because it will be a bigger pitch at Wembley and we have Jackson back who can get in behind their lumps at the back, and Sarce's nous. As long as GA doesn't play into their hands by lumping balls up to their defence, I'd fancy us. Helps as well; we'd have more than double their numbers there. Every advantage helps.

Although we did the double over Stockport, they should have been 4 up at half time at their place. Louie Barry and Oli Norwood are two of the better players in the league and I think we'd struggle with them.

 

All the teams in the play offs are there because of what they did over 46 matches. Whoever we play it’s going to be difficult

 

If we hadnt qualified for the play offs....

From now on in anything is a bonus.

 

Watched back the extended highlights. Lapslie assists for both goals magnificent. Watch the ground he covers to get into position for both - first especially he is 30/40 yards away when ball launched to Sarc then picks up the second ball and lovely weighted pass to Jackson - what a finish by him btw !! His energy and tena it’s picking up second balls make sous so much more of a threat

 

TBF We should have beaten Stevenage easily enough, if Bobby hadn't injured himself getting Sarce's way for an opener and 2 great saves by their goalie, we'd have cruised past them.

 

Because the EFL just needs to put that dross to bed , what a finer stage ?

 

Put Metcalf on Norwood and he’d be anonymous? .

 

Have you personal experience of that ?.

Thought the same re Jackson finish. That’s the quality we’ve signed. That’s why it was a coup of a signing. It’s a goal you expect him to score, but often one seen missed unless it’s from a player with quality. Thankful it was Jackson it fell to. Appreciate it’s barely a comparison (and mean it respectfully), but that’s what you get with a Jackson vs a Wheatley - the quality and experience finds a way.

 

Yeah, I once nipped round to knock on for parkbantam.

 

As soon as I stopped celebrating, I was immediately thinking that Wheatley wouldn’t have scored there. Don’t get me wrong, the lad gets in some great positions but Jackson showed him what to do when he gets there.

 

I agree. Whoever wins the City v Bolton tie will get promoted in my opinion

 

Doubly impressive because it was with his weaker foot.
