Because I'm on shift on Saturday so this way I can even make it over to the game if I can bag a ticket!

 

4 points between 3rd and 8th shows that apart from the top 2 who were head and shoulders better(I know we beat Cardiff away blah blah)there’s nothing between the teams who were fighting for the playoffs.

Who holds their nerve best wins.

 

Maybe not blatantly gifted but the weight and accuracy of his passing today was top notch. No Hollywood stuff, just doing the basics right.

 

Haha maybe you’re right. Enjoy the journey etc etc. it was just all too familiar to so many games this season though. Sloppy late goals conceded brought on by trying to park the bus in the last 15 minutes rather than turning the screw. Our attacking options off the bench are decent, we should use them in the last 20 minutes. Bolton won’t be as forgiving.

 

It’s good our away form is improving in time for play offs. 2 wins and a draw in last three and we should have won all three

 

Imagine at the start of the season someone saying the L1 play off final could be (and i think will be) Bradford vs Stevenage!

What a weird but enjoying ride of a season

 

Yep - really delighted for him - incredible engine and covers exceptionally well. Clearly has a good footballing brain - and great character

 

I'm not surprised.

They know we won't roll over like some teams do, they won't be scoring 4 or 5. It's a 2 game slog, and we proved we didn't even need to play that well to peg them back.

I wouldn't be surprised if they really went at us at theirs, but if we come through with another draw, we're then favourites.

 

Get it stuck on the wall in the changing room! Chests out! We can beat anyone!

I'm hoping Bolton will be feeling edgy having lost to Luton in the manner they did.

 

I guess it depends on what is considered gifted. Sarce, Pointon, Powell, Humphry’s etc maybe not - but it’s not always about that, even at the highest of level. His gift is his attitude and workrate which will likely get him much further than others who are naturally gifted.

His anticipation to set up Jackson today was quality. However his header to beat the CB for the second was arguably even better. He should never be winning that.

I’ve liked the guy since he arrived - he played a significant role last season and scored some important goals. This season I think he’s been dealt a tough deal but if he continues the next two (hopefully three!) games as he has the past three, he’ll get enormous and well deserved credit from all.

Stevenage lucky today. Not seen a video yet but my neighbour sits in the stand behind the goal and reckoned their goal didn't cross the line but they'll take it.

 

I think that Max Power's booking today (his 14th) won't effect the play-off's?
Doesn't a ban come in on the 15th booking?

 

They said the refs watched beeped but I'm sure we dont have that technology in league one. Admittedly the lino has a better angle but it looked extremely dodgy call. Didn't look over the line at all.

Can’t be bothered looking back now but when Jackson signed I had a bit of a conversation on here with someone doubting the point of his signing. I just thought he should be given a chance. Boy, he’s turned out to be a pretty crucial signing with some really important goals. Great finish today.
