That assist for the first was lovely it was a tackle / assist!

It would be nice to think that both teams can be fair to each other and we give each other 2,700 but I can see Bolton wanting to only give the same that they gave Barnsley in 2023 which was just over 2,100. If that was the case I would throw all fairness and sportsmanship out of the window and give them the same which. With the ticket sales being split between the 4 clubs there's very little incentive to give them an extra 600 tickets. It's not an easy decision as it looks like you are scared of an extra few fans but it does come a bit of eye for eye and not wanting to be the one who's seen as being generous

Shame as a game like this deserves the biggest audience possible. I wonder if anywhere is going to screen the first leg live in the city centre?

Yet again, Lapslie involved with both goals and he was everywhere on the pitch. Like a new signing.

True, I remember that game well! Unfortunately, despite our excellent home record, we are not free scoring and haven't won many games by more than a single goal.
Like I said earlier, I see this as a completely free hit. We've had a fantastic season regardless, but have 3 games now to potentially make it a historic one!

If that was to happen, obviously I'd take that all day long.

The lad has been absolutely magnificent since Alexander “ found” him again. I’m on record as pleading for his inclusion for months and I also said I thought he would play a big part in our run in - well done George !

We've drawn against them twice this season and they've finished below us. We have nothing to fear.

With it being on Sky I don't think anywhere in the city centre would have a Sky licence to show it on a big screen, I would be surprised if the club don't have it on in the Hendrie/McCall suites like they did for Doncaster last season or Fleetwood play off match.

I couldn't actually cope with us playing the anti-football of Stevenage twice more. That would have been awful.

It was a deliberate pass. He just needed to dive in to nudge the ball. Excellent play.

guessing just the pubs. Council/police will not want it on the big screens as there will be trouble

GA has shown his ruthlessness this year. There’s 0% chance Walker is our no. 1 in the championship and he must be 50:50 at best should we remain in L1.

GK will be first position we strengthen.

He must be one of the most mentally strong players around, he had a slow start and struggled for minutes yet showed up at key moments last season. This season I was convinced the Bolton EFL Trophy RWB experiment was the last we would see of him yet end of January he came from nowhere to come off the bench against Doncaster and put in a good shift then disappeared from the squad until the Stevenage game, got subbed on and subbed off but he's looked back since the Plymouth game to play 3 90 minutes in a row.

99.9% of players would have kicked off or forced a move out but he's kept his head down and getting his rewards now.

Clearly a top pro. He may not be the most gifted, but what an engine he's got along with a first class attitude. I'm delighted for him.

His reappearance is vital for Sarcevic as well. He knows that Laps won't stop running, will always cover and so allows for Sarcevic to play his natural game - but not needing to overdo it.
