We made that look easier than it could of been, Exeter would have been battling for their lives and we just had too much quality for them.

 

Long journey home guys but you deserve it great away support once again.

 

Job done but not convincing and doesn’t give much hope going into the playoffs.

Swan and Humphrys sat on the bench, to give us a more attacking threat and keep the pressure on Exeter. Instead we bring 2 more CBs on and end up scraping through. Makes no sense.

 

Very professional job today against a very limited side.

In total control without getting out of 3rd gear.

Only blot was the shocking late goal conceded. Too many defenders on and a howler from Walker.

Whatever happens in the playoffs you have to hand it to GA and the players, a magnificent achievement to get into playoffs and actually being up there since August.

I thought it was an excellent away performance under pressure,and as I stated earlier we needed to do it ourselves as we would get no favours from Bolton, Wigan or Barnsley.

 

Once again we were far the better team first half (not a classic) they did exactly what we expected them to do second half, we looked to be capable of keeping a clean sheet until once again he introduces Kelly and unsettles a solid looking defence, unbelievable !!.

Edit that comment is not a dig at Kelly.

 

Plus in the prediction league we both had a 0-2 win with Jackson and Sarcevic to score. Very annoying.

 

It was almost the Antoni Sarcevic playoffs until Stevenage scored

 

Whatever happens from now this has been a brilliant season back in league one and it’s a credit to the players and management. We go into the play offs as underdogs and all the pressure is on Bolton
