He did ..yellow then red . He forgot the second yellow .

 

We were at the end the linesman indicated the penalty the referee had waved the challenge away but when the linesman flagged he changed his mind, it was a nailed on penalty by the way, Lapslie had the better of the defender and he wrestled him to the floor.
The Doncaster player knew it and didn't complain.

There was no 2nd yellow needed. At a guess the yellow was for “dissent”, it then moved into foul and abusive language which is a straight red.

 

Thanks, on seeing the BBC stats I thought I must be seeing things.

 

We’ll probably never find out what Baldwin said but Alexander knows and whatever it was he agreed it was 100% worthy of a red card.

 

No he shouldn’t, but today isnt anywhere near on Wright (not suggesting you are saying that). He had the courage to step up and was arguably our best player all match.

Where was Pattison (our captain BTW!?)??? All he had to do was hit it on target and as hard as we know he can and it likely beats the keeper for shear pace.

Sending off was the correct call by the referee when he'd had a with him, I think he said at half time but we were listening on the bus.

We are going to limp over the line because of how dreadful Walsall are.

 

Though many will not agree - i think Baldwin and Byrne are not the defenders you need in a promotion winning team. Surely there was better available to bring in last summer.

 

I want having a go just saying watching the game on TV you would have had a better view of the incident.

He gave a yellow for discent. Then Baldwin swore at him. He issued a straight red. So I am guessing that wasn’t a second yellow.

 

Unfortunately, the sending off dominates the interview so no questions on selections or subbing the two young players at half time to lose the midfield energy again or the choice of defenders to start the game
