It was a stone wall penalty. Surprised to see you go against the ref, or is it just when the decisions are against City you defend them? The ref was very good today, can’t put the result on him. He did right sending Baldwin off as well, too many refs put up with crap behaviour like that.

 

Did any players appeal? Byrne?

 

What i saw was he got a yellow and was then given a red without a second yellow being shown so I don't know if that means the ref changed his mind and gave a red after the first yellow or if he forgot to show the second yellow.

I thought the ref was entitled to give it. I agree, I thought the ref did nothing wrong today. I think Halliday got lucky but other than that he had a good game.

 

Got nothing against Walsall. Good luck to them if they can finally find some form.

For the life of me I cannot understand how we have gone from a relatively solid defensive unit to constant change, then landing on Byrne at RCB and Baldwin at CB. Since he’s persisted with that, we’ve looked terrible. Made worse when we have perfectly capable replacements in Shepherd, Huntington and Crichlow on the sidelines.

You then look at Swindon and question how he poorly set us up after the sending off.

The capitulation at Chesterfield. Just to name a few…..

 

Don't like to lose and all teams obviously do. It's the manner in which we are losing games that has me spitting blood! Brainless at times.

 

I think its a straight red in that instance and a three game ban. The ref has done us a favour so we don't have to see that muppet for 4 months

 

I don’t know . I don’t think Byrne did but seeing as short term shirt pulling is now allowed?

I've given them the benefit of the doubt lately but we are literally reliant on a woefully out of form Walsall to not pick up points when we should have been celebrating like Doncaster were today.

 

Maybe , in the cool light of day , fans shouldn’t go if that’s how they feel to a defeat.

 

I agree, the way he reached for the red suggested Baldwin said something really foul when he was being shoved away.
