Serious questions need to be asked of this sides mentality, and serious questions need to be asked of Graham Alexander. His decisions and in game management are awful.

We were in excellent form from December to March, but when the 8th March came and we had our first chance to go top - and came into that final quarter of the season, we flopped at Gillingham. On pretty much every other occasion since where we've been able to go top, or solidify our position at the top, or in the top 3 itself, we've also flopped. Swindon, now this. 9 points in our last 9 games, when the heat is on, is abject. In fact, points per game, it's relegation form. This team has bottled it, plain and simple. And it's personified by the moronic actions of Richie Smallwood and awful decisions of GA. Our mentality problems stem from there in my opinion - you need your captain to lead by example and when it came to the crunch, his head went walkabout - missed a crucial penalty at Vale, and then one of the most pointless red cards you'll ever see. And GA's decisions are bizarre. Football is obviously a collective thing, but theyre largely liable for blowing our promotion hopes out of the water,and GA is the cherry on the cake.

 

We dont deserve to win title. Bottled it big time again.
