It seemed to have been toned down a bit but last night they could have been seen from the moon they were that bright. I get the idea of them for revenue purposes but pointless if the fans can't see.

 

Aparently the club have turned them down to the lowest setting, still not bloody helpful though

 

The lad needs to up his game, his form has fallen off a cliff. We aren't talking a couple of games here, it's been a worrying drop off to be fair. Need the Metcalfe of a few months ago if we to do anything in the playoffs.

 

Last night seemed brighter than of late although it could well be my eyes these days. If an advert with a white background comes on it's like being blinded a big light bar they have on 4x4s

 

If there are loads moaning about it on here and at last nights games then there is deffo an issue ...........like i said why not stick them down the side of the pitch ?????
I didnt even realise we had scored until everyone started celebrating due to the lightshow .............i mean if thats the lowest setting then it deffo needs sorting or moving or sending it back to Temu

Trouble is a lot of fans treat football now like a computer game, robots that perform at the same level every week. They simply don’t for many reasons. I can remember when Fernando Torres left Liverpool to Chelsea and was a totally different player, still managed a champions league winners medal though.

It’s absolutely unacceptable. We pay money to watch a football match, not watch bright adverts obscuring our view.

 

He has had a clear dip in form, which can happen to young lads. Guessing its the first season hes played so many consecutive games at senior level. It may simply be that hes struggling a bit due to the number of games. Regardless, I've seen enough to say that he will be a long term asset imo. If we can rest him for at least the Exeter game, hopefully we'll get a fresh and raring to go Metcalfe for the play offs.

I mean there is a big chance if we get in the play offs that we will be facing a night game with that fooking shite show behind the goal spoiling it

 

He just needs to go back to basics and if he is gonna try beating a man then do it in the right areas ..........i mean i get the odd one but its becoming every other game now

 

Maybe its because Power is siiting on 13 yellows and not playing all out as earlier in season so Metcalfe is almost stalking him on the pitch and its affecting his game.

 

Quite possibly. I did notice in Saturdays game that Power noticeably backed off making a tackle as a lad was breaking away, and Metcalfe came in and took a yellow for the team.
If Power can get through Saturdays game without a card, the threat is lifted unless he gets a red.

Has Metcalf got 9 yellows - ie one away from a 2 match ban ?

 

No the threshold for 10 yellows incurring a ban expired a few weeks ago. Its just 15 up to and including the last games of the regular season.

RE Joe Wright, he was immense at Bolton in the 0-0 at the Toughsheet. MOM display that day….so reckon he will keep his place for Saturday after a good showing on Tuesday.
