GA needs to up his game as manager for these away games. Does he seriously only have Plan A? Doesn't appear he has a plan for playing against 10 men either. Needs to get a grip at half time this is awful to watch.

 

Got it working after 25 minutes in,

So, the usual first half garbage away from home

Why do we consistently revert to this long hopeless ball so much? Tilt, Pennington and Baldwin need to get their heads together, passing and communication so poor. Again, football is played on the FLOOR.

 

Credit to Barnsley, they are far more up for it than we are.

As we know, we don't do possession and Sky tells me we have had 63.5%.

Barnsley will hope we remain as inept in the 2nd half because the hoof is playing right into their hands.

I'm not ruling out a loss today because we have been very suspect in defence as well.

 

As long as we get into the play offs these performances are acceptable eh....

No Pointon ?, I have to br honest I'm away and the WiFi is as bad as us first half so not sure who was on the bench, but Sarcevic has got to come on preferably for Humphrys who done nothing.

Poor first half, Barnsley are poor but it’s understandable with 10 men. We’ve been awful because we’ve not tested their keeper at all. It’s mainly due to the distribution out of the back, it’s giving the forward players little to feed off. Tilt and Neufville in particular have been awful. We need to play calmer and more composed, seriously these are poor there is so much space in front of their defence which we haven’t utilised at all.

 

Hopefully this is our bad half.. We cant get any worse… can we ?

 

Awful first half but as long as we dont do anything stupid at the back I'd expect us to do the business 2nd half. Need Sarce on at half time as zero creativity.

 

Hopefully Sarcevic will replace Humphrys and that the City supporters wake up after half-time.

 

Surely now this game represents our best chance of 3 points from the remaining fixtures.

I wouldnt say go gung ho in the 2nd half to leave us vulnerable at the back but we need to up our game a lot, like we did at Wycombe, in the 2nd half.

I'd be tempted to go 433, dont need 3 CBs against Bradshaw on his own. Feels like we are a body short in midfield.
