I would go 2 up top and have Bobby in a midfield 3.

If you'd lost 7 in 8 away from home, in one of those games, would you not have started with a different system to mix things up a bit? It's rinse and repeat.

It will be an unpopular decision, but think we edged that half despite being a goal down. That said yet again we’ve not created enough despite Bobby’s chance (which I think he should have done better). Most alarming for me is that if you were a complete new neutral to this game, you wouldn’t know we are the club 4th in league pushing for promotion.

I expect more from us and TBH Humphrys needs to show much, much, much more for me. Supply hasnt been great, but he just isn’t leading the line. There was a moment in the first half when Power gave him a huge earful for lack of closing down of the CB. I’d welcome Swan as a replacement at HT.

Last point - I’m not convinced the chance at the back post didn’t cross the line. It was much closer than I think many might believe it was

Watching the save by Walker that they are claiming was over the line, I certainly think they have a case as Walker is mostly over the line so it can't be far off if it's not over. Impossible for the assistant to see as he can't see through Walker, it will be interesting to see if there is a camera the other side of the goal to get a better view of it.

 

No, I know what you mean. As an away performance it was ok in that they didnt look threatening really. It's just that we're not creating anything.

 

Warning signs have been here all season regarding lack of goals.. when you batter teams like peterboro with 30+ chances around 17 on target and only score 2 its very very worrying.. same for the first 40 mins VS Burton.. we should have been 2 up at least before they scored.. we’re creating the chances just no one decent enough to put them into the back of the net..

 

Don’t they have goal line technology, thought the referee had a watch that told him if it crossed the line

 

Not just me then, Humphrys might not like playing the lone striker role but at least put your self about if not for your team mates the fans who'd spent good money to watch you.

 

We never do though. Even as strong as we are at home, most wins are just by the odd goal.
Keep it at 1-0 and we MAY sneak a point, but sadly I can't see much more than that.

 

Would be interested to know the stats in terms of %’s, because it feels like we’re useless from them.

Wycombe seem to play the Southgate, pass it round the back for 30 minutes style of football and god knows what we are playing.
