Oddly the way Wycombe play I’d have thought the game was ripe for Wheatley’s pace if not finishing? The play a bit like Orient at the back?

Powell back in the match day squad, James Mason on commentary, what in the name of Easter Monday is going on?

 

Just checked, last Powell league appearance was final 20 minutes away at Cardiff.

 

I wouldn't be ruling him out just yet, if Humphrys or Swan get injured I think he will be next in line. Also if we do get play offs secured with a couple of games to spare I can see some changes being made in the last game or 2 which would give him a chance.

 

Hmm so it looks like Mullin was another panic signing.. how can you put someone who has spent the entire season injured in front of a “proven” goal scorer.. Glad weakley is out.. zero power in his shots

It's pretty telling that 4 of our January signings are failing to make the squad. And to my knowledge i don't think any are injured.

It looks a like a defensive lineup, maybe trying for a draw. I would take a point for sure but hope our aim is to win

 

I think Mullin was Plan D or E and we went for him when the other options like Hardie and Beesley were not going to happen.
Mullin isn't a proven goalscorer in league 1 similar to Cook, I think he was brought in to add a bit more depth in case of injuries and also whilst Powell was out with no idea if he would play again.

 

And the cursed pink kit… why not c&b ? It doesnt clash ffs
