Bloody HUGE that!! As messaged at HT I expected more from the first half given where we sit, and the second half was exactly that. Much sharper. Much more on the front foot buoyed by Metcalfe who immediately got us more aggressive in the press and 5-10 years further up the pitch.

Ashby got some unfair stick at HT, think he was really good throughout TBH. Not a bad thing to have pressure on Neufville/someone to allow him a rest at this time in the season.

A very welcome return for Jackson and fair play to Powell, did you exactly what he needed.

Tilt, Pennington, Bobby and Tourey also very good. Finally praise for GA and the players. Heads didn’t go down and reaction at HT was very encouraging.

Most said a point would be a satisfactory return from today - surely we’ve all got to be incredibly happy with that result??

 

That's my worry too. They have been so bad all season, yet somehow are still just about in the mix. You can see them sneaking 6th spot which would be a worry as they've massively underachieved with the squad they have.

Yeah i agree i think Powell showed his experience and helped us see that out. Got to be honest I'd forgotten about him but i think it's harsh for anyone to criticise his contribution today
