Granted a few of them were in cup competitions rather than all league, but hey... not bad for realistically a second/third choice striker.

 

Khela weirdly played the AM role with Pattison still deep which was weird. I think GA should have switched them but he’s a manager and I’m not

 

I think a bit OTT. Aside from the goal, Pointon was anonymous or made the wrong decision or slowed the ball down too much

 

I said that at the time. Lino waited an age and didn’t know but as these soft lads almost always do, he gave it to the home team

 

I thought against Colchester he was equally as poor.

Again though, two goals and it's difficult to argue.

If so, I noticed quite a few in the Midland Road stand getting on his back today, but his finish was top notch.

Maybe controversial but the referee was excellent today. Neither the challenge on Pattison or on Adaramola from the keeper were red card offences. If we could up the standards like the referee today then we’d maybe have rightfully a few more pouts

 

He was another who didn’t make a drama out of every decision
Just gave them and let the players get on with it.
Even when it got a bit lively he didn’t make a meal of anything.

Thought he got most things right today.

 

10 goals and 6 assists for Kav this season (is what I read today). Not a bad return. Hard to know what to think of Kav, overall I find him pretty frustrating, too many loose touches and sloppy passes but then today he showed that there is a composed striker in there. So who knows!

 

My sentiments too. Got the big decisions right, no red cards and a penalty call that was the right decision.

 

I thought he did well overall but definitely flip flopped between letting absolutely everything go for the first 20 to penalising even the smallest contact for the remainder of the half. Perhaps he felt like he needed more control of the game?

Refreshing from you chief. He didn't do much wrong. I'm always amazed by expectations on the ref. I think some people just want the game to be reffed by a City fan and can't handle a neutral person not giving us every decision we want.

 

Well despite still being in much pain and stiff as hell around my shoulder, I thought sod it, two weeks in the house was sending me stir crazy so I am off to the game
17 years since we saw city top a league, if it’s another 17 I might not be around
As for the game, a win was all that mattered and we got it
Fantastic start to drive straight at them, finishing poor after that and rode our luck a bit, great penalty save by Walker, Crewe goal looks onside and really calm finish by Kav to seal the game
He can be frustrating at times, but for a young lad he is doing ok leading the line
Atmosphere again incredible

 

Sąd to see former chairman Mark Lawn in a wheelchair sat in front of the press box at the game.

 

Is it an illness or just something surgery related?

Either way I wish him all the best.

 

I think people need to remember that Callum is only 21 too. Of course he is going to have frustrating traits to his game.
Far too much criticism of him on here at times and people dissecting every aspect of his game.
Andy Cook is 34 years old and has spent his whole career perfecting his trade in this league. It’s a hell of a job to replace that with a 21 year old kid.

 

Kevin I had a perfect view of it definitely hand to ball and he knew it straight away it was a clear penalty
