I may be wrong but reading between the lines it sounded like he said something to the ref in the tunnel at HT about his performance and that was why we didn't get a penalty in the second half.

 

Walker made a significant difference when he came on. Until then . Second best. Got what we deserved. Nowt.

 

Absolutely there is more to life but we must ask why can't City get it right. This is way beyond the manager.

What we saw today was what Sarcevic brings, despite the mixed reaction from fans about his first few games. Calm and composed, if there’s such a thing as vice captain at City he’s that for me. I also saw why GA manages Bobbys minutes like he does, despite constant calls for him to be starting every game. Very good options for that position as we saw with Odour having a good impact again, rotating those lads properly will be key.
And well done to Olly getting off the mark, no pressure lad but we need another 10-15 this season if we’re going to forget about Young once and for all.
All will be forgiven from me if we thump Carlisle next week. They’ve looked dog so far

That was an alarm bell ringing performance. Alexander has us playing this kamikaze style football where we just commit everyone forwards and leave three very average defenders extremely isolated.

Now that would be great fun if we creating plenty of chances and scoring goals, but we're not. And the defence got ripped a new one today as they did at MK. Credit to Grimsby because they beat the press with absolute ease several times today.

The first goal was an individual error but the second was just rank bad defending and highlighted the fragility in the system.

So glad I didn't go today-was put off having to collect the tickets at VP as couldn't get there due to work commitments so gave it a miss.

Does GA gamble and give the new loanees a chance citing today's performance as a reason or does he stick and see if he gets a reaction?

Will wait and see what the new players bring but am underwhelmed with the transfer window as well as, it seems, the majority on here except the usual happy clappers.
