To be fair to Tyreik he makes the keeper work both times, the second is decent save with his foot. Bobbys effort is about a yard wide. What we have to cut out is conceding from what has been pretty much a teams first effort on goal when we've been the better side. Done it a few times now, once that happens the heads drop and we look unlikely to then get anything from the game.

Jackson was a central striker at Accrington. Did well there. Was only at Ipswich and Derby he moved wide later on. We were using him centrally here after he arrived too, although Swan’s injury may have played a part in that.

I would hope Tyreik has a better attitude that wanting out because he thinks his team mates aren't pulling their fingers out. We have rescued his career twice and now after a pretty poor season he finally pulls his finger out and starts trying to do what we signed him to do.

Burton have put a post on Tiktok about the game and they've got a pitchside angle of the Pennington tackle and he is lucky that wasn't a red card. It didn't look that bad on the broadcast camera but this angle shows he lunged in off the ground with both feet on caught the Burton player at shin height.

What I also didn't realise about the Humphrys incident that he puts his head in his hands presumably thinking it is going to be a red card.

On another day that game ends in even more of a disaster with 2 red cards so one we got away with.

From the away end it looked like Pennington got frustrated and snapped their lad. Didn't try to play the ball - could well have been a red.

The Humphrys incident was weird. I think that everyone in the ground except the ref thought that he'd be walking. As you say, Humphrys put his head in his hands and assumed he was gone.

Another annoying away performance. Tyreik's chance early on was well saved by the keeper's feet. Don't think that TW did too much wrong, just a good save. Bobby's was an awful miss and, predictably, we were made to pay.

First half I thought we played well. Not sure why we messed with the Bobby/Tyreik link up, as it was working. Swan unlucky to be hooked; he needs more than the odd half of football to get match sharp and it's not like the alternatives are banging them in. Metcalfe on the right a baffling decision, but I suppose that's what happens when you select three strikers on the bench and don't have Ashby as an option. Second half we were rotten and I put that down to GA tinkering too much. Plenty to improve on.

I think that everyone connected with Bradford City thinks the same - except our manager. We're running out of time to give it a go, as I wouldn't fancy it being tried for the first time in a playoff semi. Might as well give it a blast at Wycombe, as we can't be much worse for it.
