Massive if we win today with the other games going on involving teams around us.

 

It's the only time this year I've wanted Walsall to win.
Crewe winning would be fantastic.
We need the gap to the chasing pack widening.

 

We win today and I reckon there's no more drama. Nobody seems to have the form required to close the gap that we would establish. If we lose, the run in gets very tense. It's really pivotal.

 

Draw might be better. Hopefully we will win.

 

Absolutely. Rivals drawing and us winning is always great, 2 extra points a game soon becomes uncatchable at this stage.

 

There is time and enough games for plenty more drama, don’t kid yourself, but agree winning today is imperative in lots of ways.

 

100%. I wish Walsall have 3 or the world's most boring 0-0 draws in human history in their next 3 games.

You might be right. I just don't see any other teams catching any form. Even if we lose points in the run in I can't see anyone else capitalising if we can get a 6 point cushion.

 

I reckon so. Their last home gate was under 2500 and we've sold over 2600.

 

It's a strange one Jordan because technically he's very good and has some good moments but when you look back over the 90 he hasn't really impacted the game.

 

I don't think him or Mellon have really "kicked on" like we hoped when they came in, but because everyone else has stepped up in the goal column, we haven't really put too much pressure on the forwards. They've had the odd bit where you think there might be something there, but nobody's really grabbed a claim to the starting slot. Hopefully Kav can kick on now.

With Leigh, ignoring the obvious Accy link but he reminds me a little of Shay McCartan. He has moments where you think he's got some good technical abilities, gets in forward areas, tries the link up..... but the execution has been crap so far. Like Shay, it seems he isn't a striker, he isn't a winger, is he a 10? If so he's so far down the pecking order. Fingers crossed with a good pre-season in him he comes good.

 

Looks like Accy are cashing in while they can.
