I think they might have a career in stewarding at Wigan games .

We were at the right hand side of the goal, when some stated to leave the grandson said their fighting with the police I said no there going into the lower concourse, then a policeman's helmet came flying up the section we were in, I'm down for the Barnsley game but unless we get into the Championship at my age I really don't need the hassle, as I've said many times I love my time with the grandson a couple of beers before the game but even though I experience the 60s/70s when things were bad we have an element of idiots who don't care about how their antics effect other fellow Bradford City fans.

So if thats the case ............why wasnt there a like for like signing in January ???? They knew how crucial he was to where we may end up but did nothing to try and find a solution to it

Sorry mate but it’s not a computer game. Quality and fitness don’t reduce in conjecture with each other. For instance it’s well known that James Hanson was flogged and played at 60/70% and always put in a shift and contributed. Someone of better quality wouldn’t automatically produce better quality performances than him at the same fitness as physical traits don’t necessarily translate to ability. I’m sure there were plenty of players fitter than Messi but couldn’t get near him.

We spent a fair bit of the season either above Lincoln or on their coat tails, it wasn’t an issue then.

I think Jackson is the closest we have to a replacement. A different type of player but a decent replacement. We've been unlucky with his injury. Otherwise our recruitment has been underwhelming but I wasn't expecting miracles from a January transfer window.

It might sound a bit strange but concourses are not designed for a stand full of people to be in them so not letting people into the concourse is for the safety as the concourse capacity is less than what a stand's capacity is. They're only designed for a % of the capacity (I think it's something like 40 or 50% but I could be wrong) as they are designed for people to get from the turnstiles to the seating area and for people to get something to eat or go to the toilet. Because of this there's no need for them to have the capacity of the stand.
Earlier this season when Sheffield Wednesday were protesting and not going to the stand for the first 5 minutes of the game and instead stood in the concourse but because of this Leicester had to close the turnstiles until they went to their seats due to overcrowding in the concourse area.

Capitalism mate, you pay for a seat that is not provided and you have to stand.

We were poor, never looked like scoring unfortunately.

Couple of terrible individual errors for their goals (not taking away from Taylors finishing mind). Hard to be over critical on Jenson who's been a bright spark all season.

Not sure if it's the players or the way we setup but we just never look overly dangerous and I never feel confident we will score unless it's an individual moment. Port Vale aside, even at home we just don't seem to hammer teams except on a handful of occasions.

We're a hard working team but I think we need a bit more pace and quality.

Also why would they try keep us in at the end? The Wigan fans were obviously going to try and stay behind to celebrate an important win with their team... let us out first and get their players to celebrate a bit longer and do a lap like we do at home after a win.

Unfortunately I thought Wigan did a good job on us. They did to us what we did to opposition teams earlier in the season. They pressed us from the start and never gave us a moment to settle on the ball

I'm typing this with a big smile on my face, given that situation the other way round and it was Swan bearing down on goal I do wonder if Wigan would have opened up like the Red Sea and not taken Swan out ???? ;).

They tried it with White and Sibley and quickly realised both were absolutely shite. The cheapo loan route...

No idea what Lapslie's ever done wrong. The lad looks to do a job when he's played. And that's in short bursts too! We've seen as much of Ashby as we have Lapslie!

Said it many times here and on other forums - for whatever reasons - and I hear all the “ well Graham sees them every day in training” arguments - I’m mystified as to why Lapslie is almost completely frozen out. I hope there’s still a chance for him

Wigan told City fans they had to stay behind at the end of the match (which was pretty standard in the past) but some City fans tried to ignore this by trying to force themselves past the police and out of the ground.

Under article 5 of ECHR, it could be classed as an infringement of liberty and free movement to hold one set of fans back
You would not win however if you challenged this as the authority also have the right to hold you back if they think there might be an impending disturbance
    Very grey area
