What’s this route one from Byrne all about?

 

It's a tricky balance, we don't want to just be gifting possession back, but we've wasted so many runs today by just passing the ball around at the back. The occasional gamble on a quick ball that gives the front players something to work with seems the most likely way we will break through. We don't look like passing it though Tranmere today.

Lapslie needs to get the ball more.

Could be a real chance for one of the subs today - Kav, Leigh, Wright - if one of them come on and score then they could get themselves a starting spot for the next couple of matches.
