I listened to the same commentary bobbing around on the Macclesfield Canal, and they were indeed highly complimentary about our performance. In fact I was generally impressed by their fairness overall. They made little or no attempt to gloss over Vale's weaknesses.

But i read it as little quality meaning we have a limited number of players with actual quality. I dont think the comment is wrong.

Yeah, I get the meaning but it depends how you define quality and whether that view actually carries any merit other than on paper.

If quality is having enough ability to win games at this level then clearly we've got more of it than most, regardless of what people think quality actually looks like.
