Spin it the other way around and i doubt that our numbers would have been any higher

Agree to an extent Dave, but at this stage of the season we don't want 'potential' we need the experienced pro's. If we got into the play off's (as seems likely now) or even the final, would you honestly say that Wheatley would be the answer or that you'd play the lad over the other strikers that we have??

A lot of 'ex pats' live down south so bump up the numbers at games in places like London. As you allude to let's not kid ourselves about our away numbers, they're great this season but generally we aren't a team that travels with particularly nigh number when the chips are down. I thought that was a fair following from Leyton Orient considering their current form.

But did his leg hit the lads stomach or was it the other way round seeing as both players dived in equally Bots?

    Completely different though.

They're on a shocking run of form and are travelling to a team that never lose at home.

It's not a trip you'd make out of hope. You'd need to be pretty committed.

Yes, his right foot smashed straight into his stomach.

I haven't seen an angle showing what the ref saw or if their lad followed through into Baldwin.

Btw folk going on about ref ..........it all stems from the top ........if they are that fooking poor at the top with the help of VAR then we will continue to get clowns like this :(

I actually went from pure rage to actually laughing at the shite Twit.

Absolutely spot in . Quite a number around Bishops Stortford / Colchester/ Chelmsford go to the Southern based fixtures . Whereas I can’t see many from the East End living in Yorkshire perhaps?

Don’t disagree with you Bronc, but as somebody has already pointed out, right now is not (possibly) the time to persevere with a kid who shows potential. As you alluded to, you can’t buy the shithousery that Mullin brought to the table when he came on, and him and Humph made the ball stick when it went up front. Whereas with Wheatley, it came straight back at us. We are getting to the very serious stage of the season now.

The ref couldn’t have seen the foot “ smashing” into his stomach from the pics posted. He was to the rear of the Orient player . That wouldn’t have been given even by VAR in the prem. It was a 50/50 . Their lad wriggled a touch more than zorro , but immediately recovered once the red came out ….Amazing how he was clutching his shin in all the replays and not his “ smashed “ stomach ? Using that sort of dramatic language doesn’t help when all indications show otherwise. Did he get treated and spend 30 seconds on the sidelines would be my first indicator?

Yes, I made this point on another post.

The ref obviously thought he saw something but when you look at the reply and see the way his right foot goes right into him there is no way it's getting overturned.

Unfortunately in this day and age you cannot go in two footed so by the letter of the law its a red card. If there was common sense which there isn't a yellow would be the right decision.
