Turn of your heating and walk everywhere. You will save money, become fitter and the reduced demand for these fuels will eventually force a price reductuion
Although i thought with our so expensive green policies of solar and wind power, we were supposed to be less reliant on these other sources.

 

You think a few individuals not filling up their cars or turning the boiler on will force a price reduction due to lower usage?

I imagine that would take the whole of the United Kingdom in unison and still wouldn't make even a small dent.

 

Rightfully so, we still live in a country where debate and freedom of speech should still be encouraged. I was at a seminar yesterday where the speaker talked passionately about cross-party politics and the need for all sides to be heard. Stifling that is making this country worse. I've not contributed to the general chat since and won't be doing again. Anyway, best move on.

Bugger off it’s 5 miles to the nearest shop and 9 miles to nearest supermarket. ( Yes I know but I wasn't aware Russia would chase Ukraine for its resources and the US anyone who has oil and gas and Greenland ) Latter sentence …we are far and away better than the US which is wholly reliant on the oil and gas industry barons but sadly are susceptible to world prices .
