Absolutely stupid comment. We don’t have a top 6 side! He’s over performed with this squad of players after getting us out of league 2. Numerous managers had tried and failed including an ex Premier league manager!!
The bloke has done a tremendous job here over the last 18 months and is currently overseeing the team with the best home record in Europe.
I’d say show him some respect but it’s pointless as it’s quite clear there is some weird agenda from a minority of the fan base. Who would people replace Alexander with? I half expect you to suggest Pep seeing as you think we are clearly a level above where we actually are.

Jackson out at least a couple of weeks and Baldwin with a broken nose from the managers mouth.

6 at home 6 away but when you go from coasting to losing 2 goals in the last 10 minutes it put extra pressure on our players for home games.

    Tinker man strikes again !!!
Thought he may have learnt from his previous mistakes when he picked a strong (apart from Wheatley) starting 11 alas he just couldn't help himself
Taking off our best player on the day someone capable of holding the ball in their half and trying to shoehorn an extra defender into (an already patched up) but relatively steady defence was asking for trouble it upset the forwards and confused the defenders ok ish with 2 mins to go but never with 15 to go we invited Reading onto us and paid the price
    Cheers GA

I dont understand the logic tbh. Put an extra midfielder on so the defence has better protection. Putting defenders on whilst decimating the midfield never works

two good examples being Swindon and Chesterfield last year. Surprise surprise, they were both away

I get the sentiment and would agree we are overachieving but I don't think it should mean Alexander gets a free pass for our away form.

There's something clearly wrong there and he needs to sort it if we want to make the most of a largely excellent season.

I didn't watch today's game but if you're winning with 89 minutes on the clock, you've got to make sure you don't lose the game. Especially when a point would have been a good one.

I like Walker, and he has done well for the club, but the last few months there seems to be something missing, maybe it's an unsettled defence,I don't know.Problem is I don't think Hilton would be any better.

Well we do have a top six side if you look at the table and if he had us performing better away from home, we could have a top two side
14 points from 51 away from home I think
As I said I don’t see him taking us any further than we are and time will tell
As I said in another post he is fast wearing out his credit that he had built up with this awful away form and apart from Peterborough, we are grinding out 1-0 home wins, Last Tuesday against Rotherham was awful from a football point of view
Stockport,Doncaster and Port vale we’re not exactly sparkling performances either
Can you see us beating Exeter away 5-1

No pressure, because our goalkeeper options are poor

Too hasty mate. GA has his flaws but I wouldn’t want any other manager in charge of this club at the moment.

In all honesty did Reading look a threat for the previous 89 minutes I didn't, we were more than coping catching them on the break, we did the job holding the ball admittedly without creating much but then we didn't need to, I don't think it unreasonable to ask why Alexander takes Wheatley off and brings Humphrys on or one of our better players who was holding the ball up and bringing an extra defender on.
Is he trying to make his point that he's a striker, the players we brought in during the January window can all play the striker role, Humphrys says its not his game but he'll play it as long as were getting results ?, the deciding factor was the substitution late in the game, they equalize within 60 seconds of us making that change.
You're never going to defend every cross into the box and as time was running out, like today teams usually throw crosses in to the box and hope the % game pays off, as their first goal did a poor header from Pennington dropping very nicely for Lane to tap in.

The football had been poor for months mate
We get beat away from home and generally grind out wins by the odd goal, at home with very little decent or entertaining play to watch ,apart from the Peterborough game, when the finishing was awful
They shuffled the pack in January and it has not improved us at all
People say we are overachieving , I don’t buy that and the away from is a massive underachievement

Nothing was decided today plenty of points and football to be played still
I might be a tad more optimistic than some even though I've witnessed most away games this season and it's been Danny dire but we have to win away before the end of the season surely.
    Wigan
    Port Vale
    Burton Albion
    Wycombe Wanderers
    Barnsley &
    Exeter City
18 points up for grabs from the above, list with Two of the above fixtures to be played Infront of huge away followings that in itself should in theory be worth something if we get behind the team.
At the start of the season I would have been happy with mid table after six years in League Two the fact we are still sitting Fourth tonight in the table is incredible but it's only natural to want more.
