I’ve got to say I’m surprised with that. I know it’s a long trek on a Tues night but it’s a new ground for everyone, we are playing well and there’s lots of southern based fans.

I thought they would have all gone today

 

I would think they will go today, I don't suppose our southern based fans will have enough points or indeed be season ticket holders, so will have had to wait until today.

 

A heads up for people who've booked travel/hotels for this match, it looks like if we draw Wrexham/Bolton in the semi final of the EFL Trophy the tie will be played w/c 24th Feb so the Bromley match will have to be postponed again https://www.efl.com/news/2025/february/06/vertu-trophy-semi-final-draw/

 

Not sure which competition will have preference.

 

To be honest, Birmingham have a game on w/c 24th too. So don't be surprised if we suddenly draw Birmingham and lets be honest we know the competition would prefer a Wrexham v Birmingham final.

 

I would like to see this sorted soon, I presume I am not the only one who has got tickets for Bromley with travel and overnight booked and need to know which game has preference, league or cup?

 

That's bloody disgusting to fans whom have booked travel and accommodation

 

And taking time off work which might not be able to be changed at short notice.
Why does the semi have to be played w/c 24th anyway? Why can’t it be 18th / 19th

 

The trophy game will have priority as the league have set the date and both are their competitions.

 

Then why can’t both semis be played in the same week? One on Tues 18th , the other on Wed 19th if both need to be on TV?

 

Also, Wrexham have a league game away at Mansfield on Sunday 23rd. Surely they’d complain about having to play 2 days later or will they force us to play on Wednesday and bollox to us having an early kick off on Saturday 1st.
it’s a shambles, I hope we get posh or Brum.

 

It will partly be for logistical reasons of a clubs needing to arrange a semi final match in the space of a week, also I suspect Sky won't want a game on Wednesday 19th as that is the same night as Real Madrid vs Man City on TNT

 

Wrexham had to arrange their quarter final game with just a weeks notice so that’s not the reason.
