Yes and all bar Jackson have been here since the start of the season having a pre-season together and getting to know their fellow team mates strengths, I would hope in 30+ games they would have scored, he's just returned from an injury and I suspect he's not 100% match fit, BUT I find it strange that Alexander preferred him to Mullin, which in itself seems a strange signing as we had a similar player in Andy Cook, Alexander intimated Cook could not do 90 minutes yet since Mullin came to Valley Parade he's not done a full 90 minutes.
As I posted we all see the same game but see it differently.

Most of the stick he gets now is from fans who refuse to alter their opinion of him that was established when he wasn't on particularly good form.

Agree with you, he’s beginning to show some consistency in recent games, think the goal helped his confidence. I hope he continues his current form

I'm definitely not hammering him and suggesting he was horrendous, it's the first time I've actually properly seen him play but I just feel he may need to compete better and retain the ball better at times for him to really do well in our set up.

Re the Bobby point - absolutely agree. Fine margins but watching live it looked like BP just took that one touch too many.

In fairness he's had a small consistent run but he's still got to prove over a longer period that he can sustain it.

I'm still on the fence but certainly happy with how he's performing and at the moment that LWB role is rightly his to lose.

I have been one of his biggest critics this season. I doubt anyone has criticised his performances the last couple of games. I even had him MOTM in the first half yesterday. But it just adds to the frustration knowing that he is capable of playing like that and yet for more than half the season he has been very poor and lacking attacking intent. Let's hope the new version continues with this new attitude and I will continue to eat humble pie. It will be interesting to see if can perform to a similar level if Pointon isn't playing. At the moment their partnership on the left rivals Sarce and Neufville on the right. But to me Neufville isn't the same player when Sarce isn't playing.

I was the same with him tbh. He's the type of player who's probbly pretty streaky. Hits a purple patch and then fades for a bit. One thing I hadn't given credit for till now is his work rate. He's getting much better at doing the stuff going back towards goal. Even happy seeing him stop them attacking at the expense of a booking.

His best games are when he’s got good quality teammates on the left …Touray/ Tilt and Bobby. The end ;)

I've always said I think Tyriek could be an asset - he has ability (we saw it under Sparky), its just that consistency. TBF to him GA moves from LWB to LAM and LAM to LWB from time to time - he is a bit of a utility player who hasn't found his niche yet. For me he is currently a better LWB than Touray and that spot is his. Again, I've said numerous times I prefer Touray at LCB anyway. He gets a new deal in the summer and it is deserved.

I was very underwhelmed when we signed Baldwin, but he has definitely grown on me and he is a key player when it comes to that back 3. He has been far better in L1 than he was in L2!

I thought Wheatley looked lively. He has every time he’s played. Problem is, he’s a kid and doesn’t have the knack of sticking it in the net, for all his good running. His stats at Northampton suggested as much.

Mullin would have buried two or three of the chances Wheatley’s been presented with - but Wheatley possibly engineers himself into positions our other strikers might not necessarily be able to open up in the first place.

if Jackson is out I’d be starting Mullin but only if Pointon and Sarcevic are playing to create something (and Wright at LWB). If GA is going to handicap us with Lapslie or Sibley, and experiment with another shite rotated setup instead, we might as well just forfeit the game.
