Our away record is crap on paper but during the recent revival how many times did we actually play away? Unlucky not to draw at AFC Wimbledon and beat Villa and Rotherham in the Cup. Beat Carlisle. Unlucky at Barrow (soft pen). No reason why with Patto and Sarc in we can’t step up our points return on our travels.

A few changes with Huntington, Adaramola and Mellon in for Johnson, Wright and Kavanagh.

Hope that Wright and Kavanagh missing out is a precaution ahead of tuesday or we are in a bit of trouble for that match is they are out injured. A big chance for Mellon to show what he can do

 

I wasn't far out with this surprised patto is on the bench but understand the breather and rotation of Alexander. Let's hope Mellon does the business and shows us what he is all about.

good to get a bit of rotation in the squad and have some quality coming off the subs bench on the hour mark with fresh legs to put the game to bed

 

I don't think it's too bad leaving Pattison out as Sarcevic has shown he can do a job in the middle like he did against Rotherham. I think the plan on Tuesday night was for him to play 90 minutes and give Saracevic a full rest then reverse today but the way the game was going and both CMs having a yellow card meant we had to take him off. He's always an option off the bench if needed.

 

When did we last have this sort of “luxury”?
