It's laughable when we see badges on players shirts quoting respect etc once the whistle goes it's disregarded and players will do what they can to get fouls and fellow professionals sent off, yes I'm going to say it something we rarely saw in the came before we started importing players where it was all part of their game.
I thought with regards that particular incident it was blatant cheating and deserved a yellow car, but a Liverpool player at Anfield ???.

 

Don't know why I asked as you where away as ourselves, we've got to keep the wives happy, I assume you took your lass ?.

 

I did mate, although it was one of my birthday presents, so why she got to go i am not sure.

Now i think of it mate, when it was her birthday weekend away last year, she went with her sisters and left me at home.

 

Probably more comments about the red/non red card than the fantastic point gained against the odds.

Was a very good point.

Growing slightly concerned by the recent lack of goals though, and while this game doesn't really add to that concern (because who expects us to score against a form team with 10 men) we're back to averaging 1 a game or fewer. Thankfully the defence is winning us points week in, week out.

 

I agree with the earlier posts, we really do look a good team now, in defence, build up and the press, but sadly not enough goals in us, however I hope I am wrong...

 

Key is to avoid play offs, it might be an unpopular opinion but I'm not certain you'll score enough over two legs

 

But we'll concede less than our opponents . Agree we need to go up automatically though.

 

If I watch weeds I get an upset tummy and wind. And a raging aggressive personality. Don’t partake in this vile habit…..

The key is always to avoid the playoffs, regardless of the division or form as it just turns into a complete lottery.

I do think our goals for is likely to improve though if we continue with Mellon up top and it wasn't just a flash in the pan at Newport. As he gets sharper I think he'll not only create chances for himself and others but he'll also take his fair share.

Did and I think it's the lino that speaks to the ref (who was still out of shot). Instead of going over to consult a straight red was given. Poor referring IMHO. He had a choice as it wasn't a clear cut chopping down an opponent through on goal-it was a coming together some way out from goal. I have seen many yellows as well as reds over the years in the same circumstances. The better refs give a yellow and understand the game more.
