Yawn. It's not irrelevant. You are just spouting some tired old quotes. Teams are in the top half for a reason. Middle table won't have much to play for. Remember as we get near the end, teams at the bottom have to win as well. So there's lot of scenarios so stick to the obvious ones. We'd rather play a bottom table side than a top

Far too many to recall Kev, but I'm sure you'll remember a very similar situation when we were playing Donny Rovers at Valley Parade who were near the bottom at the time (I believe it might have been a night game but the old grey matter isn't what it was) one of the Snodin brothers hit a screamer of a free kick right into the bottom corner of the net.

You are right , we had seasons in the first ( low level) main stand when it opened and moved to the upper Kop later when that opened . Memories eh? He signed for City in 88 .

Regardless of who requires what you'd sooner be playing teams from the bottom of the league who might need points rather than teams at the top who need points.

Opinions , I won’t alter mine because history proves a point, just not this season or the last , but over 60 years . Good sides come to play , poor sides don’t , when they are desperate for any points they can get no matter what it takes . Teams from half way to Port Vale are there for a reason , well that states the obvious I suppose, but just look at the points to play for , how close they are and how desperate they all will become in the next 8 weeks or so. There are no push overs as some try to claim .

Take Posh , the second most points gained since November I think it is something daft , yet they were a pushover but Burton Albion almost the opposite other than PV . Funny old game .
