The best performance i've seen from a team at VP in many many years. Shame we couldn't put 5/6 past them but who cares.

We have some players in this team that can do a football and hopefully we can kick on tomorrow!

JENSON... what a player. Every week he gets better and is becoming a little wizard. Stock rising and we need to enjoy him while we can.

 

Just looked at the fixture list. I expect noone has an easier run it like we do. We've played most of the top half

 

I've watched several of his videos with the lad from Bradford and he certainly knows his stuff, why there is any need for the expletives only Darrah knows, he's usually very complimentary with regards Bradford City.

 

For those at the game it comes as no suprise, the lad was excellent, as were the other 10.

 

Wycombe and Reading away are tough games as they are in the chasing pack.
As long as we can keep winning at home and pick up the odd point away we can hopefully cement a playoff place.

Noticed on twitter the other day the Bolton fans were hoping to have clinched a play off spot by April as there last 5 fixtures are akin to the run we have just come out of.

Incredibly favourable run of games. 8 wins or equivalent and we're in the play offs.

You're right, but this is a multimillionaire responding to a bit of bait from some nobody on social media. He must have one of the most fragile ego's going to take the time out to bite like that. I've always found him to be a bit pathetic, but not as bad as his physic on their podcast. No doubt he'll still be kissing his arse and saying how unlucky they were.

 

I looked at this a couple of weeks ago. I pencilled in 11 points in Feb (did have Luton as a draw though).
10 points in April.
I have March as ‘make or break’… and left the last day without a prediction yet.

Bolton have a terrible April
Stockport have played all the Top 6 at home so have to contend with away games now.
After we play Luton & Stockport - on paper, we have the most favourable fixtures. I’ve got the Southern trips to Reading and Wycombe as the most difficult games.
76-77 for playoffs and 88-89 for automatic.

Backed by wealthy owners willing to waste lots of money in doing so
If clubs were only allowed to spend what they actually earn, then the leagues would look completely different I would imagine

 

Completely and utterly irrelevant . We say this season after season …teams at the lower end in danger of relegation are the opposite of a pushover . Every team coming to VP will make it much much harder for us to win . Park the bus and rely on breakaways and set pieces.

 

Looking forward to how he does on Tuesday as it will be a much much harder task for him.

We may well have a handful of teams with nothing to play for by March. I'd rather them than teams fighting for survival. Surely we are allowed a little bit of optimism looking at the fixtures ahead.

 

Anyone want to point out the obvious flaw that VVD had been defensively absolutely terrible all season?

Perhaps it's a new thing and defenders don't have to defend anymore, they just have to hit the odd pass accurately and all of a sudden they're Franco Baresi levels?
