I’ve been negative this season, but today was one of the best performances for a long, long time. Everything today was bloody brilliant

 

I must admit, when I saw the line up, my immediate thoughts were that GA had gone ultra negative - I know I wasn't the only one who thought that way!
What followed was as good an attacking display that I've seen in years, so that shows how much I know! Yes, the way Posh played did suit us down to the ground, but the lads still had to do the business. Nobody less than a 7 out of 10.
Sets it all up perfectly for Tuesday.

As you say Baldwin defended well and his long diagonal balls were very accurate, but when you look at the way Metcalfe took control of our midfield I would suggest running more yards than any other player on the pitch, I don't see how Jenson was overlooked for MOTM.

Not having that to be honest. We played a good 10/15 games pressing hard and also getting results until the late autumn. Then we must have played a good 15/20 since in a completely different way in a hoping for the best style. We must have played at least two thirds of the league since we last "pressed".

 

I made Metcalfe MOM but I thought Baldwin was great as well

I did post before the game that they were technically good ( passing it about ) at the back but slow in our game at Posh ……and so it continues even under an even more “ Pep” manager ?

 

Fair enough, yes. Hadn’t realised we were only referring to our own players rather than borrowed. But I reckon he still remains the best I’ve seen at VP in terms of distribution out of his area.

That’s how I see it , over and through the press has been said multiple times by many posters , if your opinion differs not a problem . Why didn’t Cardiff play Pep football at VP when they did at Cardiff and on and on recently .
