Didn't deserve a yellow

 

Looked like he hit his chest rather than his head on first viewing, yellow seemed a bit harsh.

 

Agree was poor from a ref who if remember right booked 5 City players in a defeat last time he reffed us most of which were soft

 

Came in on the blind side with his head down, beesley had every right to challenge and was unfortunate with the booking

 

Swan needs to do much better at making the ball stick, feel like this is a game for Pointon.

 

Jackson is crap.

What does Alexander see in him?

 

He is far from crap, but what he is is a centre forward.

The wages he's on I'm guessing? I'd start Phillips every game over him

 

Can’t keep coughing up possession so easily.

 

We started really well but this has been shades of last season with the hopeless and wasteful balls.

 

I understand why he's starting with Swan. He's scored goals this pre-season and I've supported him playing but today we need Pointon on who can receive the ball, pass much better, take on a defender and win a foul. Those aren't Swan's strengths.

 

Unfortunately, a left footed Pointon would have done better than a right footed Swan did there.

 

Such a poor effort.
