You really think the officals will get into trouble ???
It will be swept under the carpet like every other time they get it badly wrong

if you look at the view behind the goal it shows a direct line of sight between the dugouts and his right arm, so perfect view . As for the Lino there are a load of players between them

if what people claim to have happened has actually happened then yes I think they will get in trouble just like previous ones have. There will be no way to sweep it under the carpet as City can just release the cctv footage

Jackson had his back to the 4th official in the dug out area, the ball hit his right arm, if he saw it why didn't he alert the referee, if the Doncaster players hadn't insisted on the referee speaking to the 4th official the goal would have stood as the linesman did not flag for the incident.

I still stand by the fact that one of his officials signaled him and he went first to the Lino who said it wasn’t him and then to the 4th official. The Lino didn’t flag as he don’t see it. The fourth official did.

Watching the game from 2,500 miles away! So dependent on the TV footage. When the shot was screened live, it’s was from the Midland Road. I did wonder if it was a handball, but couldn’t make out from that angle. Jackson went to the Main Stand to celebrate, with a shrug/open hands like action. At that point I stopped watching, probably to look on Bantam Talk!!!! However the different angles of the goal clearly confirmed it was a handball. If the Doncaster ‘dug out’ team had access to that footage it would be compelling.
The issue for me would be what the fourth official actually saw live! Nevermind the technology available to Doncaster. Why the Assistant referee didn’t flag.
I am not sure what threshold officials use? Is it ‘beyond reasonable doubt’ or ‘balance of probability’? I struggle to see how someone that distance can be categorical. The ball was moving at pace, the fourth official is likely to only be able to see the outside of the hand (small finger area), whereas the ball looked to impact on the inside of the hand (thumb area). Again the ball could have hit Jacksons thigh.
Clear TV footage makes it easy. Relying on the eye, a live incident happening at pace around 50 yards away? I think they may struggle in a court setting.

Why then when theres other blatant “missed” fouls, offisdes etc doesn’t the 4th official get involved.. this inconsistency with rules and referees needs addressing

So the linesman who was up with play on the correct of the pitch that Jackson controlled the ball with his right arm didnt see the incident or he would have flagged, yet the referee takes the 4th official version who was 40 yards away from the incident. I haven't seen on anything on social media I've read suggesting it was not hand ball but questioning how the match day official came to that decision.
Well have to agree to disagree on this one.

I think Donny might have set a precedent here if no action is taken against the officials. We’ll just see every bench at every game with their BYOV (Bring Your Own Var) ready to show the 4th official if they don’t agree with an on field decision.

if there are people between the Lino and the incident then I’m glad he hasn’t jus guessed. When asked the ref he has been honest and said he couldn’t see. The 4th official thought he could and alerted the ref.

as I have said time and time again if an iPad was shown to the4th official City will have proof to send to the FA/EFL and job done. If that doesn’t happen then it shows that no iPad was used

Well this is the problem they usually do, but always say “theres nothing they can do,
    Its the referees decision”

Well either the 4th official saw it with his own eyes or he was shown the footage. It’s not hard to clarify

In respect to your second paragraph, then the answer is no.

City would have to have some irrefutable evidence that an iPad was actually used to influence the fourth official. So something like video footage.

Doncaster are unlikely to volunteer the information. They could easily say they saw the incident and talked to the Fourth Official rather than showed it to him. That they cannot recall showing them any footage.

Arguably the Fourth Official should be questioned over the incident. They should be totally honest (unlike David Coote).

exactly. I’m going with the first until there is evidence otherwise that the Doncaster bench and the 4th official both broke the Laws of the Game and then he told the ref who agreed to go with the breach of the Laws

hopefully that area should be covered by the clubs CCTV. If not then I’d be surprised as they would need it in case of attacks on the dugouts by fans, fights in the dugouts between players etc.

Can be quickly stamped out. Send manager and staff off if their bench are bothering the fourth officials with ipads in dugout. Ban their analytical guys from the area too if needed!
