Humphs heading reminds me of Norman Corner, jumps far to early and is landing before the ball gets to him.

I just don’t get the “it was handball so it’s the right result in the end” comments.

At our level we don’t have VAR so week in week out mistakes are made by refs.
We moan and say it’s not right but realise we have to accept it.

If decisions are now being changed by 4th officials being shown iPads or other forms of evidence we are setting a very dangerous precedent.

It’s VAR by stealth and serious questions need to be asked.

As for the disallowed goal, yes it was handball but is the precedent now set for DIY Var?

Mullin was making a statement (I don't f--k about) that's his game as we've found out to our misfortune in the past.

Happy for Tyriek. He's been one of our most consistent players this season. Deserved a goal.

I don’t get the criticism of Tyriek. He always apart from a few games playing at a position that is not his played poor.. but get in the list. Lots could join him…. He always tries.

Step in the right direction, especially first half where we were decent enough without getting enough shots away.

Thought the double sub of Lapslie and Mullin killed our momentum and Donny were getting on top when we scored.

Neufville was back to his best which was good to see and if we scored it was always going to come from something he did.

Impressive debut from Jackson, promising link up play with Neufville too. Still missing a striker who can hold the ball up or win a header. Too many crosses into the box with no target to aim at.

Completely agree. The ref bottled it and should be scored low enough to be demoted to the non league circuit.

So every time we don't like a decision we show the 4th official the ipad and get the ref to overturn the decision? That will kill the game much like VAR is slowly doing.

Did GA just call the Donny manager a faux mourhino in his after match chat with Jamie Raynor? :joy::joy::joy:

    Hard fought win.

Back to our pressing game today and Neufville back to form.

Baldwin pick of the central defence, good goal line clearance from Pennington, but thought he struggled today. Tilt is an accident waiting to happen every week.

Power and Metcalfe much better today.

Impressed with Jackson today, he will be a handful at this level. Similarly with Mullin, he was a right pain for their defence and Im sure he will soon be in the goals.

The more I see of Touray, the more I think his best position is LCB.

On the disallowed goal. I have never seen or heard of a goal been chalked off in this manner before outside the Premiership. Surely refs cannot be allowed to be swayed by a teams ipad replay shown to the 4th official, bizarre, and is it really allowed?

Interesting Monday to look forward to. GA said a minimum of 1 player coming in, presumably Wheatley, but hoping for 2.

that will be easy to prove if it is the case as it will have been picked up on CCTV

how many times have a team had a manager sent off or booked because something has been said on the touchline that the fourth official has called over the ref about?

Usually a discipline issue that the ref could not have seen. This is Doncaster VAR.

Absolutely,we either have VAR or not but you can’t have limited VAR if a games on SKY using an i pad. The ref has set a dangerous precedent.

Anybody know for sure if the ref blew the whistle and signalled that it was a goal?

If it is proved the 4th official did look at something Donny showed him, then he needs striking off,and the Donny management should be reprimanded, and ,and the team deducted several points.

loads of people are claiming that they showed them it but I haven’t seen anyone actually say they saw them doing it and as I said if they did then it is easily proved by CCTV and he would be expecting a long ban from the line for breaking the rules.

if you watch the Sky footage you can see GA ask him if he was sure and he said 100%

I thought it was an average game of little quality between two average sides, but Wrights moment of brilliance swung it our way.

Jackson sub completely de-railed us. Positive from today, Mullin is EXACTLY what we needed up top. Love the drive and pestering of the CBs, never switched off.
