Well we either make the play offs or the missed play off scenario wins me £120 at the weekend as way of compensation.

That doesn't fill me with confidence since I think it's very possible Luton and Stevenage win and it's very possible Exeter beat us especially given the context of the game.

I said in another thread, I really hope Leyton Orient come out and get the job done against a Burton side keen to get on the beach as once that news filters through to the pitch it might knock the wind out of their sails if they know that even a win won't be a enough.

I hope we go for the win.

Bolton must be looking at being more confident with the play offs as it is rather than letting Luton slip in there.

Luton are the biggest danger to winning the whole thing and keeping them out surely is a priority. They are on a role, are off the back of beating Stockport at Wembley just a few weeks ago, Bolton need to avoid defeat to keep them out or it will bite them in the arse.

It might be a 96min decider not even at our game, it could be a late Wigan or Bolton goal.

I'm sure Bolton will be motivated to get a result for all the reasons you mention. But Luton are definitely capable of going there needing a result and getting it.

We will be smiling come Saturday tea time
    Luton to beat Bolton
Exeter to beat us as we try to "park the bus" and fail
Wigan to beat Stevenage 2 physical sides well rehearsed in the dark arts not many teams even try to outdo Stevenage at their own game but from what I have seen Wigan are more than capable
After that it's a complete lottery

It's going to happen, it's just where we land. It to me looks like Stockport should take 3rd, they have Port Vale at home midweek and then Barnsley at the weekend. You'd pretty safely say they beat Vale at home, that puts them on 77 and then Bolton would have to beat Luton to finish 3rd, a draw wouldn't be enough for Bolton but Stockport could take a draw away to Barnsley.

A Stockport point means that the highest Stevenage could finish is 5th, as even if they win at the weekend and go to 75 points, Bolton losing and Stockports just 1 point would mean Stevenage cant catch them on GD.

For us to face Stevenage at this point, we would probably have to finish 3rd which we can only do if we win and then Bolton and Stockport dont win any of their games, a Stockport win on Tues means we could finish 4th at best unless we have a huge goal swing and Stockport lose. If we draw, Stevenage would have to beat Wigan by a fair few goals to claim 5th.

Looking at the potential outcomes, it's looking very much like we will be facing Bolton or Stockport, likely Bolton to me over two legs which is probably the team i'd least like to face out of the two, just because Stockport have issues at the back and we've already beaten them twice this season. Form for all the teams isn't exactly painting a great picture. Bolton with 1 win in 5, Stockport with 2 wins in 5, us with 1 win in 5 and Stevenage with 2 wins in 5. It's not like any are thumping they way in with form, which is when Luton come in. They are unbeaten in 10 with 7 wins in there as well as a Wembley win in that gap too, they are the team nobody will want to face.

Absolutely no worries for Saturday. As a betting man, I would take a 96.2% bet all day long

Out of Interest, what is the TV coverage for this weekend?

Are all games live on TV? I would expect of games to be picked for coverage ours will be near the top as it covers the relegation battle and play off battle.

I know we all play at the same time as League 2 which has a 3 way automatic promotion battle going on, and also see Swindon v Chesterfield for the last play off place, aswell as no one officially relegated as yet (although for Barrow to escape would see some bizzare scorelines.

Assuming Luton miss out, I would make Bolton the favourites. So maybe better to play them in semis than the final. The big Wembley pitch would suit their wingers. If we could navigate the semis we would have a hell of a chance. But let's get there first!

Yeah i think we will face Bolton over two legs and then it's a lottery. Both teams were missing key players and it sounds like Sarce will be back in time for us, maybe Wright but pretty much everyone around me on saturday were saying they heard the gamble Pointon had on his ankle hadn't worked and he's out for the season. Bolton were missing their top scorer Dalby, main right back suspended and a midfielder or two are on their way back. Looked like Cissoko went off with a knock for them, i thought he was insanely good.

If we had a left wing back who could take a man on, i'd have no fear against Bolton. Touray was getting so much space but he just cant go through the gears going forward. If that was Wright on saturday, i reckon we create far more than we did.

Just look at Boltons home record its shockingly good and the fact they simply never give up at home.

Simply get the result at Exeter they are in the bother they are because in a nutshell they are crap

Cissoko was just brilliant. I kept saying nobody is marking him before realising nobody could. Excellent winger, not seen anyone as good as him for awhile.
