When all know where the blame lies and it aint the fans .............i mean all them years of anger being pissed off to get themback onside only to with a month to piss the off so badly again.

Said that Rupp was very fortunate that so many stuck with it despite years of shit and even more lucky it never got really toxic , but to go down that road again fook me shocking

The sad thing is who is there Humps is never a CF but who have we got to take that place of him ?????

This should have all been sorted Jan 1st if Cook was not going out on a permenant then why not keep him ????? Along with a fair few that have departed fook can alude to them not being good enough bit they are far better than whats come in and make the squad stronger than the weak shite it has become

A front 3 of Tyreik Wright, Tommy Leigh and Steven Humphrys meant we were never going to lay a glove on Lincoln.

If we haven't got the right players, how long are we going to persist with a formation that doesn't work for us?

Our recent performances remind me of our relegation season from L1 the last time

Most of these criticisms are valid. Yet Alexander is not a bad manager. He has taken us from outside the League Two playoffs to third in League One. He has had success elsewhere. He appears measured, not prone to over reacting and comes across as sensitive with his players and puts emphasis group togetherness.

We have faced strong teams in form of late. Previously we had scrapped hard to get results but this was now not enough. I could go on to add to the list of concerns but this would take another mail. I would say here though it might be premature to consider his replacement. He has strengths. He is going to need all of them to turn this round. Lets see how he does.

I dont think hes a bad manager at all and any frustration should be laid at a bunch that have not backed him .............i mean unless there has been a huge fallout within the squad why the hell would he try to make it weaker ????
    None of it makes sense

Hard to know what to say after last night. What is very hard to understand is GA continuing with two in midfield when months of evidence, and many people on here, could have told him we would be yet again overrun in midfield. And we were. Which leaves our two wide attackers completely out of the game and Humphrys isolated yet again. Why can't he see this? Why does he pick the same formation game after game when it no longer works? It's mind-boggling stupidity. How can he be so tactically naive?
Anyway the wheels have well and truly come off and rolled down the road. Morale and confidence look shattered. And if we were never going to make any real effort to strengthen the team this January we might have at least said so. There's an argument to be made that promotion was never a viable proposition anyway and we could have said we were looking to stabilise the club in the division with the players we have. But then clearing the decks suggested otherwise. Very hard to understand what's going on behind the scenes and what the strategy is. We'll no doubt cobble together enough points to be here next season. But we won't have the unknown quantity advantage early doors then. That's a worry when so many of the squad, and maybe the manager, look like they don't really belong in the division.

That would be possible in the sense that we would spend a lot less than others particularly on the playing squad. Some clubs have adopted that approach in the recent past including Burton, Blackpool and Rotherham with the inevitable result.

A season in the Championship might appeal to many fans (including me) being able to watch better quality teams most weeks. But as other clubs have realised, despite crossing their fingers and hoping for a better outcome with their lower quality squad, it rarely lasts long before returning to Div 1.

The club would invariably still lose money but certainly less than it would have lost trying to become established in the Championship. The owner might see that as a good approach for a season giving the fans a better experience watching their team play against better quality oppositiom. Alternatively, from his perspective, he might regard funding a single season in the Championship before returning to Div 1 as a complete waste of his own money and therefore best avoided.

So having slept, have I claimed down
    No l haven’t
There is a collective responsibility for what has happened this January
Those running the club, for being completely underprepared for the transfer window and letting players leave without better replacements already signed up.Rupp as owner of the club , for not making sure they were ready, it’s his business after all and if it was my staff I would want to know what the hell was going on
Alexander for sticking so bloody rigid with his tactics and style of play and playing people out of position and also being loyal to certain players, who clearly are not good enough for this level .
The players for such gutless performances
Yes they are set up wrong by the manager, but that does not stop you from trying and doing the basic things correctly, like marking your man or passing to a team mate.
They deserved all the criticism they got last night after 3 dreadful performances, against 3 of our promotion rivals
If they think last night was bad, then perform like that on Saturday and they will see anger.
People spend hard earned money and time to follow the team and all that is asked is passion and effort.give these and defeats can be accepted.
Over to everyone at the club

I totally agree. The players are doing their best and following instructions. This has to be sorted at management level. We just have to play three in the middle, I was hoping he would put Sibley there but he is injured.

I am not certain the players are doing their best
Going through the motions, seems more appropriate

Honestly i try to stick up for GA but Humphries i simply do not get it at all and thats gone on for months now ...........i got told by a Barnsley fsn just after we had signed him thats hes a hell of a winger but no way is he ever a CF why can GA not see it ???.
I bet the oppo managers are fooking laughing when he lines up at CF even more comical is rather than trying to get clever balls in behind for him we continue to launch it long ???????
Honestly folk can go on about Cook not being up to this level but i will put money on that him up top would have done a hell of a lot better than Humps ............honestly with all the playees gone and the attitude of whats been left it looks like something has gone badly wrong of the pitch ????

We will have to disagree on that point. The players looked positively miserable last night. If they could have done something about it they would. We are playing the pressing game without the press atm. If they keep being instructed to play a certain way that is having no results, then demoralisation takes over.It is like banging your head against a wall and wondering why you have an headache!

Take responsibilty on the pitch and not one of them is doing that :( we have all seen bad teams in our times but at least the effort was there .... ........that last night and Saturday was fooking awfull and i thought them days had well gone :(
We got away with a 3-0 loss last night and that was the only positive thing to take out of that

So Graham didn't expect to win the last three games but thought we could.
And 'we don't need to put anything right'.
What are we to make of that?
