I'm basing this on the assumption Swan and Sarcevic are not ready to start, I would go for this team tomorrow night.

Kavanagh - Humphrys

With how Lincoln play and how they played against us I would go with a 352 to give that extra player in midfield as they were another team that got in between the lines easily and stopped us played the ball through midfield. If we have 2 up front it sacrifices a player who tracks back but it means we have a much better chance of getting up the pitch and keeping the ball.

Weather looks well dodgy next 24 hours - got a message this evening from a mate who's a Lincoln fan, they are DESPERATE to play us tomorrow evening!

Massive game, such a pity Alexander can’t motivate his players for big games as we found out last Sat.. this is going to be a mansfield-esq performance last season where we were hammered 5-1 at home by them.

I still can’t get my head around our recruitment this Jan.. we’ve shipped out potential impact players and brought in trash.

 

You mean like they didn’t want to play us earlier in the season when they cheated to get it postponed for the international games. They intentionally signed Z list “internationals” so they could pull that stunt. We were unbeatable then.

It's only been raining overnight and easing off around lunchtime. Surely it's not going to be postponed? Will they not put covers on even just for a few hours? There won't be a better time for them to play is.

 

Lets get it over and done with, regardless of the score i want to see us show the balls we had earlier in the season.

 

The weather forcast I looked at, had it up to 7pm so hopefully.

 

I came up with a very similar side but I had Touray in the back three instead of Wright, Sibley as LWB and Leigh in the midfield three. We have to go to a new formation as we're overrun in midfield every match at the moment and create nothing ourselves. I don't think for a minute that GA will do that though. He deserves a lot of credit for what he's achieved but seeing things quickly and acting on them isn't one of his qualities.

 

You won’t hear me say this very often but I really hope the game is off.
Awful weather on a Tuesday night in January, we’re out of form and down to the bare bones of fit players when Lincoln are flying high, full of confidence and up for the game.

There pitch looked in extremely good nick when they were playing Burton last Thursday night. Doubt it will be off and we’ll have to suffer again.

 

I presume if it will be called off, the decision will be made by about dinnertime so as not to incur costs?

 

It’s very heavy all day here on the Eastern side . Lincoln shows rain right up to 1800 on three sites I’ve checked , all with different sources . Just below the Wash it’s heavy and strong winds.

 

100% the same, no way alexander can raise his players morale in time for todays match.. rain dance everyone please
